Independent Limited Assurance Reports (ILARs)

Independent Accountants Reports (IARs) form an integral part of a Prospectus, which is the document that forms the basis of capital raising via an Initial Public Offering (IPO).

We work closely with our clients, their lawyers and promoters on these assignments to ensure that the requirements of the Corporation Act, the Australian Securities and Investment Commission (ASIC) and the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX) are complied with. In order to sign off on IAR’s we are required to gain an in-depth understanding of the proposed transactions, how the proposed funds will be applied and what the company’s financial position will look like post IPO.

In order to fulfil our obligation, we will have extensive discussions with key management personnel, reviewing material contracts and, where appropriate, undertake our own independent industry research.
